Barrow Park Event – 29^th April

 Many thanks to those who turned up. At least the weather had improved by the first start time.

For those who weren’t there, the competition involved collecting letters of the alphabet from the controls and using them to make up words. Most people’s first reaction on reading the instructions was to be rude to the organiser! Fortunately, however, the comments after the event were somewhat kinder. I was concerned about some of the words which were compiled – particularly since the event was held on a Sunday morning and there were children present!

I think Barrow Park was a pleasant surprise to a few of those taking part. It is an attractive area and the map is excellent. We must try and put something else on in this park before too long.
